Audrey's Cherry Blossoms

Hello!

I am very excited to show you this manicure because I love the way it came out!! It was inspired by this post I came across while Googling images of China Glaze For Audrey (I have a weird thing about Googling the color I'm wearing and looking at other pictures of it...) and fell madly in love. This was very simple to do, using a black striper (my Kiss Nail Paint) and my dotting tool which looks like this:

I added the painters tape because it keeps the acetone from taking off the paint from the pencil and making it all sticky and gross.

For this mani, I started with two coats of China Glaze For Audrey, which Amanda just got in her Sally's haul. The formula on this was very nice (I've heard it was thick, it wasn't for me) and it went on smoothly and opaquely, with no problems. Then I made some random branch-like shapes with my black striper. Next, I made clusters of white dots in SH XW White On with my dotting tool in the places where the branches met and wherever I messed up with the branches!! Then I dotted in the centers of the flowers with Sinful 24/7, a neon pink. I finished with a coat of Seche Vite which is also Amanda's but after using hers, I definitely need my own.

With flash, For Audrey is a little too bright here.

Indoor lighting, no flash, color accurate. My skin isn't yellow though!

Under desk lamp light.

Thumb detail, it was my favorite!

Most color accurate here in lamp lighting, no flash.

I like them from this angle!

I got a compliment from the coffee shop cashier lady on these Monday morning when I wore this. Amanda also liked it a lot as well so I did the same on her, which she put in her post either before or after this...

I also cut down my middle finger nail after taking this off last night because I decided that it looked weirdly long compared to the others. I feel like I keep shortening my index and middle nails to give the others a chance to catch up but they never do. It seems like my ring nail has barely grown since I broke it in March... :(

I hope you liked these, comments are appreciated as always!!

Hope you have a great day/night and thanks for looking!

Fiona
