GNL (Gym, Nails, and Laundry)

You've probably seen the last post on our blog, and that means we have gotten our Zoya polishes finally! I'm so excited, but I couldn't choose what color to do first.

So that's why the post is tittled GNL. It's a ploy on the Jersey Shore GTL (and yes, I do watch that show) which stands for gym, tan, and laundry. I don't tan so I changed it to GNL which stands for gym, nails, and laundry. And that's what I did yesterday: I went to the gym, I did my laundry, and I painted my nails with my new Zoyas. But which one did I finally pick? I went with Zoya Phoebe, and I wasn't disappointed at all with it.

Phoebe is an amazing electric blue matte that has shimmer to it. It's such a bright and striking color that I can't stop looking at it. It went on smooth for a matte and dried super fast. I used four coats (which is the average number of coats for me with mattes). Do any of you remember the Crayola markers that came in the bright neon colors and there was always that one blue marker called battery charged blue? That's pretty much that color only in polish form. I looooove this shade soooooo much. It's so bright and happy.

This is Phoebe matte:

And then Phoebe with a Battery Charged Blue marker:

Have I mentioned how much I love this color?

  1. Very nice!! I really like this color! I didn't think I'd like matte polishes, but I may have to order a few.

  2. Thank you very much! I usually don't like matte that much since it usually chips right away for me, but this one had staying power! And it looks awesome with top coat!
